The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Veterans Association, PERWIRA, held the reading of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil specifically for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al- Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum, 27th February morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Such a ceremony was the association's annual religious activity by PERWIRA members in conjunction with Ramadhan.
